In the masterclass César Cabral will talk about his career of more than 10 years in animation, his works and his latest feature Bob Cuspe – Nós Não Gosto de Gente.

César graduated in Cinema and Video from the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP) in 2002, where he specialized in animation. In 2008, he directed the short film in stop motion animation “Dossiê Rê Bordosa”, which won over 70 awards at national and international festivals.

In 2010 he directed “Tempestade”, a short film that participated in important festivals such as Annecy, Hiroshima, Havana and the Sundance Film Festival. He is the general director of the animated series “Angeli The Killer”, whose first season was shown in 2017 on Canal Brasil and the second premiered in August 2021 on the same channel. “Bob Spit – We Don’t Like People” (90’) is his first feature film and is scheduled for release in 2022. The film premiered at the Annecy 2021 Film Festival and received the award for Best Film in the Contrechamp category. He is currently in pre-production of his animated feature, “Um Pinguim Tupiniquim”, an adaptation of the work of Índigo Ayer. He was president of the Brazilian Association of Animation Cinema – ABCA.
