Daniel Bruson will present the creative processes of three of his works: “He Won’t Hold You”, “Death and Uterine Life” and “Breech Delivery”, showing different techniques, backstage and making of. In addition, he talks about the art direction of the feature film “Bob Cuspe”, by César Cabral, showing concepts and construction that he adopted for the film.
Daniel Bruson is an animation director and graphic artist. His work involves film projects, music videos, plastic arts, music, advertising and training activities. Created the music video for “He Won’t Hold You” (2020), by musician Jacob Collier, a song awarded for best instrumental and vocal arrangement at the Grammy 2021 and video clip awarded with Special Mention by the Jury of Anifilm 2021. Created the animations for the campaign “Alima – Yes, African” (2020), awarded bronze at the Clio Awards 2021.
He created the animated shorts “Pete’s Story”(2015), winner of the Anima Mundi 2016 in the Portfolio category and official selection of the Annecy Festival 2016, and “Me, by J-Money” (2018), part of the Preschool Poets project and awarded in the MAST Awards 2019, in addition to the video clip “Morte E Vida Uterina” (2017), by Paula Cavalciuk, awarded as the best Latin American animation video at Anima Latina 2019. Currently directs the short film “Pária” (in production).
