Artistic director and curator of the Ottawa International Animation Festival (Canada), he is also a writer and a historian, and received in 2004 an award given by ASIFA - East Animation Festival for his contribution to promote the independent animation cinema. Screenwriter of the acclaimed animation documentary “Lipsett Diaries” (Director: Theodore Ushev, 2010), Robinson started working with animation films in the beginning of the 1990’s, when he was still a student ar Carleton University. Currently, he is working on the graphic novel “My Balls are Killing Me”. Between 2003 and 2011, Robinson published thirteen books that talk about diverse subjects, from seventh art and sports to personal experiences. It is worth highlighting his publications about characters of the history of the animation cinema from Estonia, Canada and Japan.
